Scope and Contents This collection consists of two letters written by John Robinson to his fiancee "Dot" or Florence. He tells her that he is working in a mill and making rounds to other mills, while working on a tram road, apparently learning the business while his father is out of town. He speaks of wanting to marry "Dot" after Christmas. His father's name was L. G. Robinson, and his business was dealing in high grade general merchandise in Smithfield, West Virginia.
