"The Story of Caty Sage" is a compilation of a series of Munsey Poole's 1964 newspaper articles for the Galax Gazette about Caty Sage. It gives various versions of the Caty Sage story and quotes Sage family letters. The cover page spells her name "Caty," while the story's text spells it "Katy." Most sources spell it "Caty," short for Catherine. Caty's Wyandot name was Yourowquains.
