Library scrapbook

Content Description

This collection contains one scrapbook by Belk Library staff. Gwen Eastridge, an Assistant Reference Librarian, was responsible for creating the scrapbook, which was submitted to the 1970 John Cotton Dana Publicity Awards Contest sponsored by the American Library Association. It did not place among the winners. The scrapbook contains 35 pages filled with photographs and laminated newspaper articles. The collection also includes the program to former head librarian Richard Barker's memorial service, John Cotton Dana Publicity Awards Contest materials, a 1970 library handbook.
