This subseries contains cassette tapes of northwest North Carolina church services, preachers speaking, and religious radio programs. Dorgan used these tapes as part of his research on Appalachian religious practices. Box 24 contains regular cassette tapes. Box 25 contains regular and mini-cassette tapes. Materials are arranged alphabetically. Box 38 contains additional audiocassettes, added June 2018.
