The Lectures, Concerts, and Events Audio-Visual Collection contains audiovisual recordings in varying formats, and on a wide variety of subjects, dating 1949-2002. Many of the accessions in this collection include multiple copies of the same video recording, for example on reel-to-reel and on VHS. Subjects of these recordings include: football, homecoming, the Plemmons Student Union, the Appalachian House, fraternities, faculty training, archives, ASU campus and buildings, Impact North Carolina project, John E. Thomas, LGBT issues, and alumni. Additionally, the collection includes both audio and video recording of: musical performances, lectures, a 1949 football game, homecoming festivities, and dedication events.
