Scope and Contents

The collection includes three black and white photographs. One photograph is of the 1941-1942 Girls' Basketball Team and includes both Agnes and coach Thursa Sneed. The other two photographs are candids of students on-campus after a snow.

Biographical Note

Agnes Faggart Bussiere was born March 5, 1920 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She attended Appalachian State Teachers College and graduated in 1942. As a student, Agnes was the girls' basketball team manager, intramurals manager, a member of the "A" Club, and a Gramamr Grade and Physical Education major. She married Gregory F. Bussiere and served in the military. She passed away on died July 15, 2006.

Collection was donated by Linda Coutant from the Office of Public Affairs, who received it from Gregory Bussiere, September 2006. It was accessioned into University Archives as UA.2007.146 on April 13, 2008.
