Historical Note

In 1988, the Parents Association was founded in order to involve parents of Appalachian students in activities and programs vital to the success of the university. The Association offers parents: Up-to-date information about campus issues; a unique communication link with administrators, faculty members, and others from the university community; opportunities to participate in special projects which enrich the lives of our students.
