Scope and Contents

This collection consists of one broadside advertising the English Village hotel near Beckley, West Virginia. Overnight guests were offered free car washing. The broadside states that each room is equipped with twin maple beds, inner spring mattresses, bath, radio, reading lamps, and steam heat. The hotel also offered telephone service, Western Union, bell boy service, a stenographer, restaurant and soda fountain service, and complete car service. The broadside was published by Hoge V. Hutchinson.
