Scope and Contents

The collection includes items from Mr. Dinkins' tenure in Audio-Visual Services, under the office of the Director of Development. This collection contains newspapers, promotional pamphlets, three photographs showing campus scenes and one showing the Dark Sky Observatory, postcards, booklets, and annual reports for the Appalachian State University, Inc. Foundation. The majority of the items are promotional materials for programs, services, and events at Appalachian State University.

Biographical Note

John Dinkins attended Appalachian State University, graduating in 1967. He began working as the University Photographer for Appalachian in the early 1970s.

Items are grouped in folders by subject and then arranged alphabetically. Oversize items are housed in a seperate box.
