Scope and Contents

This collection consists of a homemade photograph album featuring the Smiley family of Oil City, Pennsylvania, circa 1900. The photographs include members of the family and their home (exterior and interior). Almost all of the photographs are captioned. Individuals identified are Isa Smiley (daughter), Josephine Smiley (daughter), and Lusannah S. Smiley (identified in the album as Mrs. Thomas Wright Smiley, mother).
