"A History of the Appalachian Collection" Oral History tapes

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of eleven audiocassettes of oral histories Barry B. Baker conducted about the history of the W. L. Eury Appalachian Collection. His research resulted in his paper "The History of the Appalachian Collection" in 1979. The interviews were conducted in March and April 1979 with individuals who were strongly associated with the Appalachian Collection: Richard T. Barker, Zeb Shook, William Leonard Eury, Cratis Williams, Eric Olsen, Al Corum, Charlotte Ross, William Plemmons, Audrey Hartley, Judy Cornett, and Norma Murphy.
