Scope and Contents
A bound volume of typed copies of land surveys and land transfers within southern Charleston, West Virginia dating from the late eighteenth century to the early twentieth century. It contains blueprint land surveys, maps, and historical notes. The creation date of the volume is 1918.

Historical Note
Rollin Chemcial Company began its operations in 1913 in the vacant plant of the former Ohio Tool Company of South Charleston, West Virginia. It obtained the title for the land plats described within the ledger in 1917. By 1933, the company was renamed Barium Reduction Corp.
