The original program offered B.A. and B.S. degrees in Anthropology and has since grown to include concentrations in Archaeology, Biological Anthropology, General Anthropology, Applied Anthropology, and Sustainable Development. In 1993 a special program, the ASU Laboratories of Archaeological Science, was begun. The Department is now the largest anthropology program in North Carolina offering only undergraduate degrees.
