Paris F. French papers
Scope and Contents
This collection includes tax receipts, promissory notes, land deeds, insurance assessments, and correspondence belonging to Paris French of Abingdon, Virginia. Some items pretain specifically to Washington and Smyth Counties, Virginia. Of particular note is a contract for a 1919 Ford Touring car. A few items were written by French's wife, Josephine.
