This collection is a weekly Sunday meeting ledger of Boone Chapel Church, located in Boone, Watauga County, North Carolina. The entries are handwritten in pencil, giving the time the meeting began, the hymn numbers sung, the attendance in various Sunday School classes and teachers' names, and the total attendance and offering for the day. Also noted are the number of visitors, the superintendent's and secretary's names, and sometimes the date. There are also several pages of individuals' names and the dates they attended church. Also in the collection are twelve individual nameplates.
