Inside this collection are printed interviews and oral histories, photographs with negatives, the discography of Adkins, and recorded songs by Hasil Adkins and his happy guitar, from 1955-1994.

Hasil Adkins (April 29, 1937-April 26, 2005) was an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He was born in Boone County, West Virginia, the youngest of ten children. Nicknamed "The Haze," Adkins performed as a one-man band, playing guitar and drums at the same time. He passed away in 2005 in his West Virginia home.
