The Western North Carolina Railroad Pamphlets and Map Collection contains nine nineteenth century pamphlets and one hand colored map related to railroads in North Carolina, dating 1856-1871. They are bound in a leather book. Companies include the Western North Carolina Rail Road Company, the Greenville and French Board Rail Road Company, and the Cincinnati, Cumberland Gap, and Charleston Railroad.
