This pamphhlet describes C. M. Clay's knowledge of growing watermelons. Clay was based in White Hall, Kentucky, and describes when to plant and how to tend watermelons in his climate. He also discusses the best soil for growing a good crop and the bugs that commonly plague watermelon vines.
Cumberland Gap engraving
This collection consists of one engraving of Cumberland Gap. The engraver was Samuel Valentine Hunt and is a reproduction of a painting by artist Harry Fenn. The engraving is dated circa 1872 and copyrighted by D. Appleton and Co. of New York.

The papers of Curtis "Curt" Williams (1890-1959), a farmer, fur and herb trader, unschooled veterinarian, and distiller of whiskey from Lawrence County, Kentucky. Williams operated a 150 acre farm between the Right and Left Forks of Caines Creek.

This collection consists of one 3" x 5" card advertising the D. H. Anderson Glove Factory. Founded in 1874, it was located on South Loudon Street in Winchester, Virginia and was the manufacturer for "buck oil tan, sheep, goat, fine kids gloves, etc.."
D. R. Kitts photographs
This collection consists of three photographs: one 4"x5" of couple sitting before a rock (dated August 3, 1913), one 2"x4" of a large family with picnic (possibly a reunion, undated), and one of a young child identified as Frank Kitts, Jr. (undated). Each photographed is stamped on the back as being made by K. R. Kitts of North Tazewell, Virginia.

The Daniel Boone Hotel Ledger is a 15" by 13" ledger from Boone's Daniel Boone Hotel, dating from 1970 to 1976. The Daniel Boone Hotel Ledger illustrates the financial situation of one of Boone, North Carolina's former landmarks. It also includes one black and white photograph and negative of Daniel Boone Hotel.
Daniel German and Marvin Hoffman North Carolina Environmental Issues surveys
In 1991, Daniel German and Marvin Hoffman, both professors in the Department of Political Science, undertook a statewide study of public opinion of the environment and the effectiveness of governmental actions to protect the environment. They wanted to determine the public's satisfaction with the environmental conditions of the time and what type of actions would be supported in order to improve the environment. This collection consists of the surveys completed for the study.
Daughters of the American Revolution. Warrior Run Chapter records
This collection consists of records of the Warrior Run Chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution in Milton, Pennsylvania. The collection includes eight reports from the Warrior Run Chapter, sheet music for the song "Cover Them Over with Beautiful Flowers," and brochures listing and detailing national Daughters' activities and officers.

David Arrey and Richard Godfrey indenture
This manuscript indenture from the reign of Queen Elizabeth I is between David Arrey and Richard Godfrey, recording the transfer of propoerty on the Isle of Wight, England. It is dated December 20, 1588. The indenture is ink on parchment with a wax seal on a hanging parchment tab.
David Bush expense journal
The David Bush expense journal details the daily expenses of David Bush and his family for the years of 1878-1899. A loose 1883 list of charges for Mr. J.C. Terry is also part of this collection.

This collection consists of twenty black and white photographs from the 1983 Brown-Hudson Award Ceremony and are primarily of W. Amos Abrams and taken by David Huntley. According to Huntley, he attended the event with Willard Watson, the receipient the Brown-Hudson Award. Also in attendance with Huntley and Watson were Oral and Helen Watson, Cratis Williams, and Rogers Whitener.
