Baptist Student Union scrapbooks
This collection contains scrapbooks created by student members of the Baptist Student Union (BSU) at Appalachian State University between the years 1942-2010. It also contains a few vinyl albums. The scrapbooks include clippings, flyers, invitations, and photographs of BSU events and participants.

Carolyne Hamlin Badgett Letters
Carolyne Jane Hamlin Badgett graduated from Appalachian State Teachers College with a B.S. degree in 1961. She taught in Winston-Salem, North Carolina until 1965. After taking time off, she took a teaching job at Dobson Elementry School in Surry County, North Carolina, where she remained until her retirement in 1996. This collection consists of photocopies letters written to Carolyne Hamlin Badgett during her freshman year of college at Appalachian State Teachers College.

Graydon and Daisy W. Eggers Photograph collection
This is a collection of mostly black & white photos of Graydon Eggers and Daisy Williams Eggers. The photographs include portraits and events at Appalachian. Of particular note are photographs of Daisy Williams Eggers as May Day Queen in 1938 and of her in a campus play the same year.
Lou Bell West Godwin papers
This collection consists of copies an autograph book, certificates, and photographs belonging to Lou Belle West Godwin, who was a student at Appalachian Training School in the summer of 1924 for a teaching certificate. It also includes a biography of Godwin, written by her daughter, Linda Murphy. The photographs are of Godwin, other students, and locations in and around Boone.
Mary Elizabeth Hackney collection
The Mary Elizabeth Hackney collection contains includes papers,photographs, ephemera, and other items related to Appalachian State Teachers College (ASTC) from 1930-1934 and 1941. Items include ASTC stickers, Homecoming programs, a basketball game program, ASTC yells and songs, Hackney's diploma, and songbooks. Of particular note are the photographs, which mainly feature ASTC women students, some of whom are photographed wearing physical education uniforms.

This collection includes one record book containing meeting minutes for the Music and Arts Club, dating 1946-1947.

This collection mainly includes fliers and posters for univeristy events, programatic events, departmental events, and student organization events. In addition to fliers and posters, the collection also includes postcards and programs for convocation, building dedications, chancellor installations, and Founders Day.
Watauga Residential College records
The Watauga Residential College records contain the extablishment and history of this residential college, as well as files regarding its curriculum, work by its faculty, the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, and photographs of the faculty and students and their activities throughout the life of the College. The records are from 1971 to 2014.
