The daybook is dated 1937-1938 and provides a record of sunday school meetings. Scope and Contents This collection consists of a church bulletin from Grace Universalist Church's service on February 9, 1941, as well as manuscript sheet music, handwritten notes about the service, and a printed page from a service calendar. The sheet music is for "Jacob's Ladder" and "Lord, I Want to Be a Christian in My Heart." This collection consists of transcripts of interviews done with the Reverend Ronda Horton, pastor of the Boone Mennonite Brethren Church in Boone, N.C. One interview was conducted by Dr. Winston Kinsey of Appalachian State University's Dept. of History in 1973. The others were conducted by Dr. Cheryl Claassen of Appalachian State University's Dept. of Anthropology in 1984.
