The collection includes drafts of "Learning to Fly: A Writer's Memoir" by Mary Lee Settle. The memoir continues Settle's story begun in "Addie" (1998) and follows the writer through her experiences in World War II and the postwar literary scene. These are copies of the manuscript pages from Mary Lee Settle given to her editor after her death.
