African American Alumni Association collection
This collection consists of items related to Appalachian State University's African American Alumni Association (African American Alumni Network). Documents include a history of the organization, remarks from former AAAA president Dr. Renee' Evans, lists of events, ephemera, two newsletters, meeting documentation, and a form. The collection ranges in date from 2007, 2011-2016.
Agnes Faggart Bussiere photographs
The collection includes three black and white photographs. One photograph is of the 1941-1942 Girls' Basketball Team and includes both Agnes and coach Thursa Sneed. The other two photographs are candids of students on-campus after a snow.

Graydon and Daisy W. Eggers Photograph collection
This is a collection of mostly black & white photos of Graydon Eggers and Daisy Williams Eggers. The photographs include portraits and events at Appalachian. Of particular note are photographs of Daisy Williams Eggers as May Day Queen in 1938 and of her in a campus play the same year.
J. Paul Winkler scrapbooks
J. Paul Winkler was a graduate of Appalachian State Teacher's College. He was instrumental in organizing the Burke County chapter of alumni. The J. Paul Winkler Scrapbooks, created by Winkler himself, are predominately related to the Appalachian State Teachers College football team, but also includes information realted other ASTC athletic teams and to the college.
James Franklin Haynes Memories of Appalachian State
Excerpts of letters written by James Franklin Haynes to his daughter Mary Haynes Dalton detailing his memories of Appalachian State Normal School in 1912, 1923, and 1926. Mary Haynes Dalton compiled the excerpts into this document, copyrighted 1992.

This collection contains the diploma of Jessie Louise Eury, who graduated from Appalachian State Normal School in 1929. She was the sister of former Appalachian head librarian, W. L. Eury.

Martha Blanche Horton collection
This collection contains two items. The first is an original certificate issued by the Appalachian Training School to Martha Blanche Horton on May 2, 1923 for satisfactorily completing studies "not marked." There is a list of courses along both the left and right margins. Those crossed out were not completed by Horton. These others were. The second item is an original diploma issued to Horton by the Appalachian State Normal School, dated August 22, 1925
Mary Elizabeth Hackney collection
The Mary Elizabeth Hackney collection contains includes papers,photographs, ephemera, and other items related to Appalachian State Teachers College (ASTC) from 1930-1934 and 1941. Items include ASTC stickers, Homecoming programs, a basketball game program, ASTC yells and songs, Hackney's diploma, and songbooks. Of particular note are the photographs, which mainly feature ASTC women students, some of whom are photographed wearing physical education uniforms.
